Workshop B: DifferenceMaker: Developing and Scaling Cross-Campus Entrepreneurship Initiatives

Additional $75 Fee

This workshop examines methods and materials used to develop and deploy a student entrepreneurship program across campus. DifferenceMaker is a campus-wide program that engages students of all majors and disciplines in creative problem-solving, innovation and entrepreneurship. Since inception in 2012, over 25,000 students have participated in DifferenceMaker activities and programs. These activities include freshman orientation, college-based competitions, the $50K Idea Challenge, a Mentor Program and a summer Boot Camp. Participants in this workshop will learn the DifferenceMaker process and method, examine the impact the program has on a campus, consider the various stakeholders involved in launching a cross-campus program and then draft a strategy for deploying DifferenceMaker on their home campus.
